untitled

The visitors control the installation by speaking, shouting and crying into a microphone. No other input is necessary other than the voice to evoke a dynamic world of letters and vocal sounds. The installation reacts to certain aspects of the voice like pitch, loudness or vowel quality and responds with prerecorded vocal sounds or processes the visitor‘s utterances to generate new sounds. At the same time the visual projection visualizes the interaction through animated abstract visual poetry composed of letters and typographic shapes. untitled was shown in berlin (germany), kassel (germany) and rio de janeiro (brazil).
